It can be set to a minimum of 5 seconds to take the photo after detection an animal in motion detection mode. The company calls it as Flextime mode moreover time lapse mode is also available which takes photo successively after the time set by the user.

Picture Quality

The camera comes with 10 MP CMOS sensor. CMOS sensor is little inexpensive and it consumes less power as compare to the other available image sensor like CCD. Although CCD sensor produces better image quality as compared to CMOS sensor but the produced image quality is quite good for the purpose.

Moreover, the camera comes with day/night auto sensor and it records 720p video recording along with audio for a maximum duration of 30 seconds.

Battery and Power Options

The camera requires 12 AA batteries. But the packaging doesn’t include any battery hence you will have to buy them separately. You can go for normal alkaline batteries or rechargeable batteries but one pack of alkaline batteries last very long so it will be useless to use any rechargeable batteries. Alkaline batteries serve the purpose well and provide a back up of approx 8000 photos.

Type and Features

The camera Crush 10X supports up to 32 GB of SD/SDHC card. The packaging of the camera includes USB cable, adjustable bungee cords and obviously the camera itself. It doesn’t include any SD card or batteries. The camera comes with 60 invisible IR LEDs which provides a flash range of 70 feet.

Ease of use

Wild game innovations did a great job of placing a 2.4 inches LCD screen in front of the camera. It has six buttons around LCD through which you can easily customize its settings according to your need. It also puts a date and time stamp on each of the photos which make it easy to analyze while viewing the photos. You can connect it to a PC via USB cable in the mass storage mode.

Wild Game has done a great job of placing the product in middle price point in the market. It is set to attract the buyers. Although the product lacks the standardization; different users may get different quality products and even defective products many times. But the manufacturer provides warranty, so you can get your products replaced and if you got the good product it performs outstanding.

The camera crush 10X is an affordable camera with great features like 1 sec trigger speed, 2.4 inches LCD screen and many more. In a nutshell, the specifications make it a good buy in this price bracket if you are comfortable with the brand name. You can read the customer reviews on several sites including Amazon, most of them are happy with the product. Thus, you can think about it.
